Lapp Electrical started in 1969 by Manny and Flossie Lapp.

Lapp Electrical worked exclusively on electrical projects until the late 1980s.

Late 1980s began launch of automation and communications divisions.

2002 – was sold to Manny’s sons Greg and Tim Lapp, who run the company today.

July 2004 – President Bush visits Lapp during an invitation-only event where he recognized Lapp Electrical as a successful small business.

Lapp is now a multifaceted company employing specialized technicians in the electrical, communications, computer technology and automation fields.

Lapp has grown to nearly 70 employees.
